Dental implant placement is the most rational method of missing teeth replacement.
Stages of fabrication:
The first impression is done for fabrication of a custom made tray.
A custom made tray is fabricated for making the main impression.
Transfer is fitted (transfer module), and an impression is made with the custom made tray with transfer in it.
As a result, we get a working cast model of the teeth, which shows the exact position of the future implant.
The crown being bonded on the mould, we model the abutment.
When the crown is bonded on the model, we get ready made crown on abutment of the model. Abutment is bonded with the implant through screw, and the crown on abutment is placed on the model.
When bonding the crown on a screw, we model abutment of the implant (which is also going to be the metal core of the crown) on the mould. It is burned out from a plastic cap and wax.
